We are a family pack serving boys and girls in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. We include all youth who want to be part of Scouting.
Our pack has earned Gold status for over ten years.
We provide a dynamic and diverse program with well trained leaders and lots of fun events.
We share the best of Scouting by incorporating camping and other outdoor activities. We hold an annual Pinewood Derby race, take a special trip each year, and participate in larger Council-run events.
Den Leaders conduct meetings with help from adult volunteers and include fun activities such as playing games, completing crafts, hiking or other outdoor fun, practicing skits, songs, ceremonies, or field trips to local civic or community organizations.
*We follow the Eagle-Mountain Saginaw ISD School calendar. When school is out, we are out.
While the heart of the Cub Scout advancement program occurs in the home and at Den meetings, Pack meetings are the gathering of the Dens where the Pack recognizes achievements, plays games, sings songs, presents skits and fun. Dens will be asked to conduct opening and closing ceremonies, skits, demonstrations, and act as greeters.
Every pack is under the supervision of a pack committee, which consists of leaders of the Pack and any interested parents and guardians of the Cub Scouts. By handling administrative and support tasks, the pack committee allows the Cubmaster, den leaders, and their assistants to focus on working directly with the Cub Scouts.
Transform a block of wood into a functional car, decorate it in an imaginative way, and gain a basic understanding physics. Then compete in the race!
Scouting 101. Get outside, pitch a tent, roast s'mores. We provide multiple opportunities each year to explore nature and build confidence around the campfire.
Each year, we organize a trip outside DFW. Past trips include a Scout overnight at NASA, digging for diamonds at an Arkansas State park, or camping aboard the USS Lexington.
A summer favorite, we get our scouts together to soak in the sun and fly kites. Sometimes we play water balloon games and eat popsicles to top it off.
Scouts have the opportunity to learn so many skills and try new things throughout the program. We get together regularly to celebrate these achievements.
Kids love climbing around in first responder vehicles and learning about citizenship in our community.
Thanks for visiting - we would love to have your family join Cub Scout Pack 435.
